Change is good – Closing out Season 2- PS 105

This episode closes out Season 2, co-hosted with Sallie Lee. If you missed any of those 10 episodes, I urge you to listen.  We offer seven literacies for living and leading in our times.

In the next season of the show, I build on Season 2.  Change is good.  In Season 3, entitled Appreciative Leading,  you'll hear conversations with leaders across all sectors who are agents of positive change.   It'll be live early 2019.

Season 3: Appreciative Leading

I’ll be talking to guests who’ll share their experiences of leading from an appreciative mindset.  I am excited to speak with business leaders and entrepreneurs, and with professionals from the legal, medical, IT and financial worlds; marketers, artists, journalists, teachers, and spiritual leaders. My conversation will be with the people who do the “destiny step” of AI – the work that happens after the practitioner, the consultant, or trainer has been paid and gone home.

Seeking Patrons and Sponsors

Another new adventure for me is to identify patrons who enjoy the show and believe in its mission and are keen to see the continuity of this effort. Patreon is a new idea for many people. It's a service to help creative people keep doing the work they know is valued and wanted.  I know from my existing audience and my global community that my show educates, inspires and helps them stay on track as positive change agents.   Patreon allows you to join me in my dream for this important work.

My Dream

My mission is two-fold.

  1. To serve listeners who want to grow themselves and those with whom they are in relationships at home, at work and in community; and
  2. to provide a platform via my podcast for those who are also creative, doing great work in the world and need some help in getting global exposure to their work and gain greater visibility.

How am I doing that?  I share knowledge and experiences and give the opportunity to others who are also making a positive difference to the world. I’ve interviewed over 90 people who’ve generously shared their creativity and dreams. They’re all different and inspiring, and what most of them have in common is the worldview of Appreciative Inquiry which includes strengths-based and positive approaches to personal, career and leadership development across a range of industries and sectors.

Sneak Preview

Here's a sneak preview of my Patreon Page.  Needless to say, this is a big new step for the show’s future and it’s very exciting, and change is good!   There are four tiers of support, and for each level, there are resources I offer you to grow yourself, those with whom you are in relationship, and to strengthen your capacity to be a leader of positive change. They range from free downloadable workshop templates, training classes, books, and coaching sessions.

If you’re an organization or have specific products or services to promote, I invite you to consider becoming a sponsor.  Your personal recorded message will be included in our show with links to your brand and your services in our show notes pages.

I am so grateful for your continued support and am excited by this new possibility to grow the show.  Please visit my Patreon page to find out more.
